We are pleased to announce the opening of Takeda Bassoon Iijima Factory in Iijima<\/a>, Nagano Prefecture, which is the long-awaited first Takeda Bassoon factory in Japan. It has begun operations to develop, manufacture and deliver high-quality bassoons made in Japan to the world.<\/p>\n

Iijima is located at the foot of beautiful mountains, beside clear streams of melting snow and luxuriant forests, with a view of the Central Alps to the west and the Southern Alps to the east. The countryside scenery is serene and soothing.<\/p>\n

The town is promoting the concept of \u201cMusic Village\u201d with local companies. When the Linear Chuo Shinkansen opens, it will take only 60 minutes to get to Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Lastly, we would like to sincerely thank Mayor Yoichi Shimodaira and the Iijima Town Office for their cooperation in setting up our new factory.<\/p>\n
